That's All Folks
All good things must come to an end and sadly, this is the end of Save Our Souls.
Like all businesses, the last six months have been extremely challenging, and we have decided that now is the right time to exit the industry. The changes to social media advertising, which is how we generate around 75% of our revenue, have made the cost of running an e-commerce business ridiculously high and we do not see at the moment that the situation will change.
As a business we have always tried to be transparent with our audience and we get asked a lot about starting an online brand. Our advice at the moment is hold tight!
We would like to genuinely thank everyone who has purchased anything from us (we have sold over 250,000 tees, not bad for two idiots from Southend), liked a post, shared, supported and even those that hate us (fair few of you to be honest). All of this made us get up each day and do what we did with a smile.
We absolutely loved our job even though we made out we didn't sometimes. There is nothing better than seeing people in the wild wearing our stuff and thinking “we made that”!
We have got to meet outrageously talented people that we worked with and have met many of our awesome customers who we are lucky to now class as good friends. We also got to work side by side with our best friend for four years which is something we never would have got to do elsewhere.
To answer the most obvious and important question from customers, all orders have or will be fulfilled!
Our website will remain active for the time being with all the information needed or you can get in touch with us on hello@sosclothing.co.uk
Being 100% honest, we don’t know yet if we will return in the future but if not, thank you all again for being awesome and allowing us to live our dream for a little bit.
We will end this with the phrase that started it all….. #DontBeADick
